Pokémon and LEGO fans, get ready—because dreams are about to come true! The LEGO Group and The Pokémon Company have officially announced a partnership, bringing LEGO Pokémon sets to life starting in 2026. That’s right, we’re finally getting proper LEGO Pokémon!
While details are still under wraps, a teaser image shows what looks like Pikachu’s lightning bolt tail built from LEGO bricks. So, it’s safe to say everyone’s favorite Electric-type will be part of the lineup. But which other Pokémon will make the cut? Will we see buildable figures, detailed display sets, or even battle arenas? We’ll have to wait and see!
This is a big shift, as Pokémon building sets have been handled by Mattel’s Mega (formerly Mega Construx) for over 20 years. But now, LEGO is taking over, adding Pokémon to its growing list of gaming partnerships, which already includes Super Mario, The Legend of Zelda, and Animal Crossing.
One thing’s for sure—these sets are going to be huge. Whether you’re a longtime Pokémon Trainer or just love collecting cool LEGO builds, 2026 can’t come soon enough. Stay tuned for more updates, and let’s start making our wishlists now!
